About Manor
Manor is a small town that was named after James B. Manor, its original Postmaster. With a population of over 9,300, Manor is located 12 miles northeast of downtown Austin. With a wide variety of facilities and areas for activities, residents can enjoy, Manor has a total area of 1.1 square miles. Today, Manor is one of the Austin-Round Rock Metropolitan Area’s fastest-growing suburbs.
Residents have plenty of amenities and activities to enjoy. Located in Manor’s Historical Downtown, Jennie Lane Park serves as one of the prominent neighborhood meeting and event parks. They hold events such as the Manor Farmers Market, the Summertime Movie Sequence of the Manor, and the park’s Christmas. Thanks to today’s technology, its WiFi connectivity, and coded signs has made the park a “Smart Park” that can be accessed using smartphones to learn more about the past of the area. A pavilion, outdoor fitness facilities, and a gazebo make up Jennie Lane Park.
East Metro Park is located in Manor. A recreational park with numerous facilities such as soccer fields, basketball courts, hiking trails, playgrounds, and a pavilion you can rent for your activities. Inside the park, there is also a swimming pool that is only five minutes from the south-east of Manor.
