1. Eanes ISD

Eanes ISD serves students located within the Austin, Rollingwood, West Lake Hills areas. The school district has a State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) score of 94 and a district grade of 96 out of 100. Schools within Eanes ISD offer academic, athletic, and technological programs to enhance their talents and critical thinking.

2. Lake Travis ISD

Lake Travis ISD serves some areas of Austin, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, Lakeway, Spicewood, and The Hills. Lake Travis High School stands out in terms of athletics and academic performance with a STAAR score of 92 and a district score of 94 out of 100. Schools in Lake Travis are composed of over 10,000 students, with 6 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school. They offer summer programs, camps, and various activities that will enhance students’ skills in arts and sports.

3. Wimberley ISD

Wimberley ISD serves parts of Driftwood and the rest of Wimberley. They have a STAAR score of 88 and an A district grade with a score of 92 out of 100. Wimberley ISD is also considered as one of the smallest school districts in Austin that serves more than 2,000 students with only 1 elementary, middle, and high school. 4. Dripping Springs ISD

Dripping Springs ISD serves parts of Austin, Driftwood, Dripping Springs. The ISD has a STAAR score of 91 and an A district grade with a score of 91 out of 100. This is one of the smallest school districts in Greater Austin that is composed of about 6,800 students in 4 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 1 high school. Schools under Dripping Springs ISD are known to create a community that will guide and prepare students for their future as well as performs well in extracurricular activities and academic programs.

5. Liberty Hill ISD

Liberty Hill ISD serves the parts of Georgetown, Leander, and Liberty Hill. The Independent School District has a STAAR score of 90 and an A district grade with a score of 91 out of 100. Liberty Hill ISD is consists of 3,200 students, 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. Liberty Hill ISD guides students into being successful and responsible citizens. 6. Lago Vista School District

Lago Vista ISD serves Lago Vista and some parts of Jonestown. It serves 4,300 students in 7 schools. The ISD has a STARR score of 90 and an A district grade with a score of 91 out of 100.

7. Leander ISD

Leander ISD serves parts of Austin, Cedar Park, Jonestown, Leander, Volente, Georgetown, Round Rock. They also hold a STAAR score of 91 and a B district grade with a score of 89 out of 100. Leander ISD serves 38,00 students within 25 elementary schools, 8 middle schools, and 6 high schools. The ISD offers a wide range of programs that will help students excel in academics, athletics, and the arts.

8. Round Rock ISD

Round Rock ISD serves parts of Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock. This is one of the largest school districts in Greater Austin with over 34 elementary schools, 11 middle schools, 6 high schools, and 2 alternative campuses home to 51,000 students. Round Rock ISD has a STAAR score of 91 and a district grade of 89 out of 100. Students within the schools are said to be performing well, particularly in science and social studies.

9. Austin School District

Austin ISD serves the Austin area and is one of the largest Independent School Districts in Texas that is serving more than 80,000 students across 130 campuses. Austin ISD covers 54.1% of the city’s territory. The ISD has a STAAR score of 84 and a B district grade with a score of 89 out of 100. One of the top high schools in Austin High School is home to over 2,000 students.
