ATX Television Festival

This four-day event celebrates television in all its glory. The festival will look back at television’s history, where it currently stands, and what the future of television looks like. Experienced television staff, screenings, and panels plus Q&A sessions will be held during the festival. You might even spot some celebrities here too.
aGLIFF Pride Mini Film-A-Thon
June 3 – 5
Celebrate Pride month with aGLIFF! aGLIFF (All Genders, Lifestyles, and Identities Film Festival) will host Pride Mini Film-A-Thon with a weekend of films and programming at the Galaxy Theaters featuring four films, one shorts program, a LIVE comedy show with America’s Got Talent finalist Julia Scotti including a screening of Susan Sandler’s award-winning documentary portrait Julia Scotti: Funny That Way, Live Q&As with film directors along with parties and more being offered the entire weekend celebrating pride with aGLIFF.
Cine Las Americas International Film Festival
June 8 – 12
Cine Las Americas is a multi-cultural, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Austin Texas, offering theatrical screenings of films made by and/or about Latinos or Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Films from Spain and Portugal are also included, enhancing a truly Pan-American cinematic experience.
Soul to Sole Festival
June 8 – 12
Tapestry Dance Company, North America’s oldest full-time, professional repertory tap dance company presents its annual festival of rhythm with the 21st Annual Soul to Sole Festival. Nine artistic souls will join together in a rhythmic reunion of “Friends in Time”. The event will include 58 classes, tap jams, panel discussions, and live performances at The Rollins Theatre in Austin, Texas.
ROT Biker Rally Festival
June 9 – 12
The city and state’s largest biker celebration is back this year for the largest motorcycle bike rally. Catch some stunt shows, custom bike builders, and hundreds of vendors during the rally festival.

The largest indoor Brazilian Carnaval party on the planet is back! Join thousands of Austinites who come together to take part in this fun festival. Carnaval is all about assembling crazy costumes with friends and neighbors.
The Oddities and Curiosities Expo
June 18
The Oddities & Curiosities Expo showcases hand-selected vendors, dealers, artists, and small businesses from all over the country with all things weird. Find items such as taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror, and Halloween inspired pieces, antiques, and much more. Discover new artists and meet new friends that share the same interests.
Soul Food Truck Festival
June 18
Celebrate Juneteenth with music, fun, family, and good. Texas’ Soul Food Truck Festival was created to unite the community around the African American soul food experience. The family-friendly event seeks to nurture the mind, body, and spirit of those in attendance and encourage individuals to live healthy and sustainable lifestyles and build a healthier overall community.

Central Texas Juneteenth 2K, Parade and Celebration
June 19
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day is the oldest African American celebration commemorating the end of slavery. The event features a parade with floats, entertainment, and a celebration with food and local vendors.
Austin Asian American Film Festival
June 23 – 26
The Austin Asian American Film Festival is celebrating featured filmmakers’ unique voices where a forum will also be created for viewers to come together and experience the wide array of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) films.
African American Book Festival
June 25
The Austin African American Book Festival Features an interactive community gathering and cultural celebration of African American writers and their work. The Austin African American Book Festival promotes creativity, activism, and positive change.
